"Messed Up Year-End W2 Forms from This Company"
These year-end W2 forms from the company are a total mess, and it’s taking ages to get them fixed. Seriously, just avoid this.

Using Paycom is a breeze. This simplicity leads to a smoother learning experience with the product. The staff are guided through the process digitally, giving our management team extra time to concentrate on operations, finances, and growth.

I've never encountered customer service as good as what Paycom offers. Megan has shown incredible patience and kindness while I've been figuring out the system. Claire has also been super helpful.

"AMAZING Payroll/HRIS Solution"
I've set up Paycom on two occasions and I'm still a big fan of their system. It's user-friendly, has a single database, integrated modules, and a whole lot more! Consider Paycom for your upcoming transition to a Payroll/HRIS solution.

"Frustrating Experience with Paycom.com"
As a computer consultant and a retired academic in psychology, I've got to say, I've never encountered a website with a more dreadful log-in process. My wife has to use paycom.com for her job, and let me tell you, it’s been a nightmare. The design is just all wrong, making it unnecessarily complicated and frustrating. This isn’t just a one-off issue; it’s been years of dealing with this poorly designed site.

First off, most browsers let you save your login details, right? But these folks require you to input the last four digits of your social security number every time. So, if you save your login, it overwrites your password with those SS digits, and then you can’t even get to the next step without a hassle. It’s just plain ridiculous. Plus, the extra security they insist on is totally over the top. Seriously, who’s trying to hack into your account just to log your work hours?

Secondly, they often don’t let you see what you’re typing for security reasons. Most folks aren’t logging in in public, so why hide it from yourself? My wife is at home on her own computer, and it just wastes time if she makes a typo. If you could see what you typed, you could fix it right away. But nope, paycom.com makes it a chore to use their site, leading to endless frustration.

Other websites let you choose whether to hide your input when you’re in a safe space. Paycom.com sometimes has an eye icon, but it rarely works.

I could keep going on about the other ridiculous issues, but I’m done wasting my time. To any company considering paycom.com for their business: steer clear. Your employees will be left feeling frustrated and angry with all this incompetence. Honestly, a savvy 12-year-old could design a better system.

This is my take as both a scientist who knows ergonomics and a computer consultant who works with software regularly.

"A Big Help for Organizing HR Stuff"
Having a central spot for all our HR policies and documents has been a real game changer for our team. Before we started using Paycom, we were all over the place with our policies saved in different spots, and now it’s way simpler for everyone to find what they need. Plus, I’ve really liked the articles that come through about leadership, HR, and other industry trends.

"The Simplicity of Paycom"
I've always liked using Paycom because it's so straightforward. It's particularly great for our field team, especially the older folks who find it easy to use. That really means a lot!

"Company Lacks Transparency"
They told me they had better prices than Paychex and could offer me superior support. Turns out, that was all wrong; they ended up charging me more and messed up my quarterly reports. The salesperson was not truthful. They really ought to be clearer about the initial fees and actually follow through on their promises. And don’t get me started on their communication. They only reach out when they need something from you, but when you have a problem or notice a mistake on their end, good luck getting a call back or an acknowledgment of the error. Be cautious—Paycom will say whatever you want to hear, then pester you daily until you sign up. Once you’re in, a different person takes over, and suddenly the charges are higher and not what you were told. For instance, they require a wire transfer for the first 90 days, which you’ll be charged for upfront by your bank. This was never mentioned in the contract. They also promised to start on January 1st for a fresh beginning, but then they delayed, leaving you stuck with your old payroll provider. They didn’t include the first part of the previous payroll company’s work to complete the quarterly, claiming they were responsible, even though you signed over the POA from the start. So, please be vigilant and keep an eye on them. Make sure they include all the necessary liabilities...

"Not Worth the Headache"
I really enjoy my job, but I seriously considered throwing in the towel during this whole process. The Paycom sales rep promised we’d get everything we had with our old vendor and then some, all for the same price. Sadly, that turned out to be a big exaggeration. The sales rep claimed he didn’t know we had those features. Now, we’re shelling out more cash than we did before for less service. The folks handling the implementation are quite rude and seem to blame us for every little hiccup; there’s zero accountability. Honestly, I think Paycom should be cutting me a check for all the extra hours and effort I’ve had to put in. Issues just keep popping up, and they keep jacking up the prices and our stress levels.
